We are a family owned and operated ranch in Montana raising quality Highland beef and superior Highland cattle.
What We Do
Spring Valley Ranch began in 2019 with six unregistered Scottish Highland cows. Since then, we have expanded our ranch to focus on AHCA registered cattle that can perform in the field and in the arena. We continue to use our unregistered Highlands in our embryo transfer program as their maternal instincts are unmatched.
We select the best genetics across the United States and Canada to provide the highest quality Highland beef and cattle to our customers. Using AI and ET, we are able to keep our herd diversified while maintaining the highest standards in our breeding. We have incorporated some of the top breeders in North America into our fold including Highland Spice, Skye High Farms, Flathead Farms, LEA White Farms, Willow Glen, and Star Lake Cattle Co.
In addition to our Highland cattle, we also raise club lambs. This began as a way to provide our kids with quality market lambs to show at the county fair, and it has since allowed us to market club lambs and USDA lamb for sale to the public.
Our Values
Ranching is a way of life to us, not just something we do. As fifth generation ranchers, it is of the utmost importance to us to breed animals that we can stand behind. Our four children work alongside of us, and we’re proud to be passing on the values of integrity, hard work, and empathy.
